On the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Six Day War the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) BICOM and Fathom Journal have joined together to explore the legacy of this watershed event.
Together, we have compiled a compendium of contributions from prominent thinkers, activists, security professionals, politicians, and artists to discuss and debate the implications of the 50th anniversary of the War, it’s legacy for Israel and Zionism and prospects for peace in the region.
The War is a defining event in the history of Israel and Zionism and the debate over its legacy inevitably draws a diversity of viewpoints and at times deep divisions. Our aim is to build a platform to showcase this vital debate, rather than to ignore its significance.
We have launched this platform in conjunction with the anniversary of the outbreak of hostilities in June 1967. We hope it provokes deep reflection and thought.
The positions expressed by contributors to 50 Voices 50 Years are theirs alone, and do not reflect the positions of ADL, BICOM or Fathom Journal.
